Change of Address, Email, Emergency Contact, Phone Number
Address Changes (open all year round):
Any family who has an address change within San Juan Unified or who moves out of the district and wants to stay within San Juan Unified schools: https://www.sanjuan.edu/enrollment/address-change
- If a family moves out of San Juan Unified and wishes to stay in San Juan Unified schools, they must submit an Interdistrict Transfer Permit (ITP) from the new resident district.
- Go to the new resident district to be released ) and then fill out our online Interdistrict Transfer form.
- Then upload a copy of the release paperwork you filled out for the new resident district.

Changes are first to be made through the Parent Portal. Visit www.sanjuan.edu/parentportal or scan the QR code below.

Enrollment
El Camino Fundamental High School does not do enrollment directly at the school site. All enrollments, transfers, and address changes are to be completed online. Any incomplete grades that are not updated are changed to an “F” grade after three weeks. Any grade change request forms are to be submitted by the teacher with administrative approval prior to returning to the Registrar.
Online Courses
Courses taken outside of El Camino Fundamental HS:
- Proof of course completion via transcript must be official, signed, and delivered to the Registrar AND El Camino Counselor.
- Online classes through one or more of the following: Brigham Young University (BYU), Silicon Valley, American River College (ARC), Options for Youth, etc. must be completed with a finish date and a letter grade.
- APEX Courses outside of San Juan Unified – Official transcripts MUST be sent to the Registrar.
- APEX Courses through San Juan Unified are automatically posted on your EC transcript every quarter.
Parchment Information/Transcripts/Records Request
El Camino uses a third-party service called “Parchment” to process all transcripts and education verifications.
All Records Request have a 5 day turn around. Transcripts can also be sent to the NCAA Clearing House through Parchment.

School/Class Ranking:
Per Board Policy, San Juan Unified does not participate in class ranking, in part because of innumerable variations that can occur in GPA. This is in keeping with nation-wide practices.
Additional Records Requests:

- Examples: Behavior, Attendance, Proof of Enrollment, Immunization records, etc.
- Cumulative files and hard copy records of in-district students have a 5-year archival period then destroyed. Not all records are digital. Former students over the age of 18 must request their own records.
Special Education Documents

Student Withdrawals
All families withdrawing from El Camino must:
- Parent/Guardian(s) must contact the Registrar either by phone or email to receive further information about withdrawing their student.
- An “Official Parent Withdrawal Request Form” needs to be completed prior to disenrollment.
- The student is expected to return ALL El Camino materials (Textbooks, Library Books, Athletic Equipment, etc.) Failure to do so will result with a fine issued to the student and will be forwarded to the new school.
The Registrar will forward Official Cumulative Records once they receive a records request from the new school
