Free school meals continue for all students in 2025-26 school year

San Juan Unified is excited to share that free school meals will continue for all students during the 2025–26 school year. All district schools are participating in the Community Eligibility Provision (CEP), part of the National School Lunch and Breakfast Programs.

Through California’s Universal Meals program, every student can receive one free breakfast and one free lunch each school day while on campus. No application or payment is required.

Families should still complete the School Funding Form in Parent Portal as part of the annual student information update. While this form does not affect meal eligibility, it helps secure valuable funding for schools.

Please note that the program covers one breakfast and one lunch per student, per day. Second meals or a la carte items must still be purchased. Monthly menus are available at www.sanjuan.edu/schoolmeals.
